
Before obtaining her law degree, Brittany was a paralegal with the Firm, assisting in commercial litigation, corporate transactions, bankruptcy, and social security matters. As part of the Cleveland-Marshall Appellate Clinic, she helped secure a favorable ruling from the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals determining that a federal habeas petitioner may still present "new evidence" in federal district court for federal habeas corpus purposes (see, Lowery v. Parris, 819 F. App'x 420 (6th Cir. 2020)).
